League of Women Voters presents Jeanine Gentry, CEO of Southwest Memorial Hospital | 10 am - 12 pm
Jeanie Gentry is the new CEO at Southwest Health System. She moved here at the first of the year, and she will speak to our group on November 12 at 10 am.
SHS is Jeanie’s fifth rural hospital and she has been in Executive positions for 35 years. She is originally from Mesa, Arizona but went to school in Utah and worked there for ten years before moving to Montana where she transitioned into healthcare leadership. While working in the Libby, Montana hospital, she had triplets…one girl and two boys. They are now 21 years old and live in Montana and Idaho. Jeanie moved to central Oregon in 2011 where she was CEO for two hospitals at once. After her kids graduated from eighth grade, she moved to Salmon, Idaho where she was also the hospital CEO from 2016 thru 2021..
Jeanie loves Montezuma County and has enjoyed exploring all of the area around us. Besides leading the hospital, she is currently playing piano for the Mancos Community Choir and is grateful to be back in a music group.
SHS is making many improvements and Jeanie will be updating us on those and answering any questions we have. Please join us!
Presented by the League of Women Voters of Montezuma County.
